Twenty five and still kickin'. We celebrated Autumn's birthday on Wednesday the 8th and we had a great time. She tried to restrain me from spending too much money on her this year by giving me a spending limit of $50. She made me pinky promise. Turns out I'm a liar and she was surprised. I figured I would let her have her low expectations that way I could blow them out of the water. It worked, and anybody that knows her well knows that she deserved everything she got.
She was surprised by the Young Women when they decorated our door early in the morning. They called her a hot tamale (I thought I was the only one allowed to call her that).
I surprised her by having flowers delivered to her at work. Being the great teacher she is she turned it into an opportunity to teach the children about giving.
These are the pearl earrings I bought her. Judging from how often she wears them I think she likes them. She looks good in them, like a hot tamale!
There is a cake under that raging fire. In case you were wondering, she didn't blow out all the candles in one breath. But she looked good in her attempt, like a hot tamale!
Happy Birthday wife! Love you.
