There is one stipulation:
- Not too scary
Tanner and I are the biggest chickens. CSI scares me, and Charlie Brown The Great Pumpkin scares Tanner. Now the hunt is yours please let us know your favorite Halloween movies and we will tell you which one we chose.

pit & the pendulum (with vincent price)
have fun!
Poltergeist. Both hilarious and scary. Craig T. Nelson's greatest role.
We really like Watcher in the Woods. It is an old Disney movie, but it still totally freaks us out. I don't really scary, gory either, and this one is just plain creepy. Or, there is also Lady in White or IT. Have fun!
poltergeist, RD? that is WAY TOO SCARY for these two, if what autumn says is true.
but really fun.
How about The Haunting of Hill House? Not the remake that came out a few years ago, but the black and white original from the 50's or 60's. The remake was over-the-top lame. I had seen the original when I was about 10 at my grandparents' house in Idaho. It was on in the early evening when I started watching it. But my whole family decided to go bowling just then, but I was into the movie so they said I could stay home---alone---on a farm just off a country highway. I never wished harder that I'd gone bowling with the fam. I get goose bumps just thinking about it. So, when the remake came out in the 90's (I think it's called just "The Haunting"), I was pretty excited. Big letdown. So, then I thought that maybe the original wasn't really that scary after all, since I'd been so young when I'd first seen it. So I rented it and showed it to my young women at a Halloween party at our house here in Orem. Man. It's scary. Still. So, if you're chicken, maybe this one's not for you either. But it really is good.
Poltergeist? Don't know about that one. Maybe in the middle of the day with a group of about 15. Thanks for the recommendations though. We'll let you know what the verdict is and how well we handled it.
Tanner is scared by the Great Pumpkin?! I can't even think of anything else to say.
