Heeee-Haw

Well I went out and voted. The results are in for the next President of the United States. It wasn't the outcome I wanted, but the outcome I expected. What kind of mascot is a donkey anyway?

Way to vote, Tanner!

(PS, a donkey may be ugly, but it's so fast. It can strike at any moment. You're never sure if it's a bear, or a puma...)

Not sure if you will ever allow me to comment on your blog again, but I couldn't resist the pun.

Tanner: What kind of mascot is a donkey anyway?

Brian: It is a kicking ass.

Seriously, way too good a pun to pass up.

Upon further reflection you might note that the Republican mascot is a giant animal that eats a ton, is scared of mice, and is commonly referred to as the problem no one wants to talk about (ten-ton-elephant in the room). Not that it reflects anything about the party itself, just thought it was a funny observation.

I'm curious to know where the mascots came from in the first place. Anyone know?
