How romantic?

Some talking heads think "Pirate" is a romantic title that leads young Somali's to aspire to be like Jonny Depp. Do they look like the kind of people that watch Jonny Depp movies? I think romantic is the wrong word, not pirate.

Pirates, like the ones above, raked in an estimated $150 million in ransoms last year. I'd like to know where all that money went... clearly they haven't invested in their wardrobes. Maybe they spend it all on Rum? You'd think they could at least afford a hideout with a floor... then again they might just be confused as it looks like they put the linoleum on their driftwood coffee tables. I'd like to tell these guys a thing or two, like how coffee really isn't that good for them and they should quit drinking it. That goes for the rum too.

After their failed attempt to get a ransom from hijacking the Maersk Alabama, these criminals, who are likely in cahoots with terrorists, are lashing out. In all, they are holding over 280 sailors hostage on 15 vessels. 76 of them were taken in the last few days. If I were a sailor I'd find another way to go. Is it really that inconvenient to take the scenic route? But what do I know?
